C&C strengthens its position in Europe by acquiring Humac, Denmark's only Apple-certified brand

C&C, Europe's largest Apple Premium Partner, has achieved a new milestone by expanding its operations into the Danish market through the acquisition of Humac A/S.

Founded in 1989, Humac is a long-established player in the sales and servicing of Apple products. Originally known as the "Apple University Center," the company has strengthened its position over the years through strategic mergers, merging with Öflun in Iceland and Office-Line in Norway, which resulted in the current Humac A/S. Today, Humac is known as the largest Apple Premium Partner in the Nordics and the only authorized service provider for Apple products in Denmark.

With this acquisition, the Italian C&C group strengthens its international presence by adding 15 new Danish cities to its network. These include Aalborg, Bruuns Galleri, Clemens Torv, Esbjerg, Frederiksberg, Hillerød, Lyngby, Odense, Rødovre, Roskilde, Vele, Waves, and Copenhagen (with a total of three stores in Gamle Mønt, Vesterbrogade, and Magasin).

The name Humac is derived from a neologism that combines the words "Human" and "Mac." It reflects the company's commitment to providing a first-class customer experience, focusing on the user both during and after the purchase transaction. This approach perfectly aligns with C&C's "People Around Technology" philosophy, which centers on humanizing technology.

"We are proud to announce this acquisition, which strengthens our presence in Europe and demonstrates the stability of our internationalization project," states the board of C&C S.p.A.

"In the European economic context, where global challenges are being addressed and inter-market cooperation is being increased, this acquisition represents a tangible contribution to economic and employment growth in our operating countries. Our goal is not to change the local operational environment but to enhance its processes by bringing in our expertise and ensuring the stability of the existing workforce. A good example of this is the retention of human resources, which is essential for the success of the company: with this acquisition, our group's workforce now exceeds 1,200 people. We believe that investing in local skills and the quality of work is essential to fostering sustainable and balanced development. This is also in line with our company's social responsibility principles."

With the addition of Humac, the total number of C&C stores in Europe now rises to 122, distributed as follows: 49 in Italy, 26 in France, 14 in Sweden, 3 in Finland, 9 in Estonia, 6 in Latvia, and now 15 in Denmark.
